Jerren is the founder of NeuroDialectic. Jerren’s main approach in therapy is DBT (Dialectical-Behavior Therapy). DBT was first founded by Dr. Marsha Linehan. The main concept of DBT is ‘dialectical,' which means not everything in this world is black-and-white. There is gray area – if there is a thesis and an antithesis, there is a synthesis in-between. You can love someone while being mad at that person; you can have many friends while feeling lonely simultaneously; if there is dark blue and light blue, there is blue in-between. Neuro, on the other hand, stems from the word neurobiology, viz., the study of nervous system. Hence, NeuroDialectic means the ‘gray area’ between psychology and neurobiology.
